3 Dimensional Drawing

Perspective drawing is a drawing technique used to illustrate dimension through a flat surface. There are many forms used under perspective drawing such as one point perspective and two point perspective.
3D Drawing - One Point PerspectiveOne perspective is also a perspective drawing that has one vanishing point were the lines drawn are parallel to each other and are at “infinity.”
Step by Step to Construct the Grid Lines for One Point Perspective
1. Indicate the GL, EL and HL.
2. Indicate the VP/C.
3. Indicate the CL.
4. Measured the feature wall (length) then project the vertical line for the left and right side.
5. Project the VP to the top and the bottom part of the feature wall.
6. Make the same measurement on the right side of the feature wall on the GL.
7. Find the MP. [MP = FN(length) + (SP to FW)]
Legend:
GL - Ground Level
EL - Eye Level
HL - Horizontal Line
VP - Vanishing Point
CL - Ceiling Level
FW - Feature Wall
MP - Measuring Point
SP - Station Point

One Point Perspective
After finishing constructing the line, we were asked to draw six basic forms in the One Point Perspective.

3D Drawing - Two Point PerspectiveTwo point perspective or perspective with two vanishing points is used when the object's corners are facing the viewer. This method is perfect for drawing isometric objects.
Step by Step to Construct the Grid Lines for Two Point Perspective
1. Measure the dimensions of the room and the direction of your view.
2. Draw the VL (referring to the height from GL to CL), then draw the GL.
3. Indicate the El and then draw the HL.
4. Put the VPL (approximately one and half times of VL).
5. Then, place the VPR to the further distance than VPL.
6. Project the line from VPL and VPR to the top and the bottom part of VL.
7. Find the MPL and MPR.
8. Approximately the MPL and MPR should be in the middle from the VPL to VL and in the middle from VPR to VL.
9. Do the GL.
10. Project the line from MPL to GL and project the line from MPR to GL.
Legend:
VL - Vertical Line
VPR - Vanishing Point Right
VPL - Vanishing Point Left
MPR - Measuring Point Right
MPL - Measuring Point Left
GL - Ground Level
EL - Eye Level
HL - Horizontal Line
CL - Ceiling Level
Two Point Perspective
After finishing constructing the line, we were asked to draw six basic forms in the Two Point Perspective.

Besides that, we were also asked to get some examples of One Point Perspective and Two Point Perspective from magazine. Here are some of the examples.
